INFORMATIONAL SEMINARS --- Informational Seminars, presented by our faculty. Most will be at NO COST, but an opportunity to register for specific courses will be available.
EVERY CHURCH A CAMPUS --- Simply, Pastors, leaders, and people of all ages are to be educated through and within the church.
Pastors and Ministers are typically educated by other educational institutions. Once educated, they are qualified to teach what they have learned. We recognize there experience and education and qualify them through our Professoriate Certification.
PROFESSORIATE CERTIFICATION --- The Professoriate Certificate Program is designed to prepare those who teach, at any level, to be professors. There are similar programs that focus exclusively on improving instruction, but TCCA believes that we must prepare current and future faculty to understand all the responsibilities of being professors which we define as:
One who professes for the Lord; one who designs effective learning environments.
One who remains active in research, and,
One who supports the governance and administration of his/her institution.
DEGREE AWARD --- Prior learning credits allow one’s previous learning in a variety of formats to count toward a degree. TCCA awards credits for that learning, even if it took place outside of a college classroom.
Education comes in many forms and does not always occur in a classroom. That great project you had with your company, the experience of managing a team, the craft business you run on the side, and the kids whose schedules you oversee have helped you learn, grow, and organize/manage/lead. We honor prior learning because it is everything you have mastered, yet it has not been recognized as degree credits. We do!
CERTIFICATE --- TCCA presents seminars and workshops in many vocations. These may prepare students for a test in a vocation so that they become licensed in a career field. The courses are considered vocations God has called the individual to. All of our certificate courses include the biblical understanding of that vocation, primarily God has called you to perform service in the community.
